PianoPatrol - how it all started:

I began developing this game when, one day, I saw my five-year-old child playing a car racing game. I thought, "Wow, he is so good—probably better than me." How is it possible that he exhibits such excellent hand coordination while playing games, but when I try to teach him to play the piano, he becomes bored and all of this wonderful hand coordination seems to vanish? And so, the Piano Patrol project was born. The success we achieved with my kids and the many others who followed suit was amazing. To them, it was just a game—a medium through which they learned to read notes and play the piano, all the while thinking they were simply playing a game. For the kids, the piano keyboard became just another game controller. This application proves valuable for both children and adults. For adults, it offers an entertaining way to rapidly learn to play music on the piano.
